Project Status: Remediation work successfully completed.  One power plant site was subsequently sold to another developer who constructed a mid-rise residential and office tower on the site.

Managed the environmental remediation of existing shell buildings on the island to clear them for conversion to a headquarters office for a national advertising firm. The advertising firm dropped their option however; we continued to prepare the sites for new uses.  Primary material removed was asbestos, however, numerous other materials were discovered and removed during the work including acids and mercury.  The work was complicated as access to the site was limited and lower levels of the facility were partially submerged requiring dewatering and water treatment.
